FITCHBURG STATE ATHLETICS

Frost T Rost Productions was commissioned by Fitchburg State University and their athletics program to create videos celebrating and highlighting the university's athletic program for Division III Week. NCAA D-III Week is a week celebrating the unique and honored tradition of Division III athletics. Through a year of work with the athletic program, teams, and student journalist Kyle Prudhome, our five part series on Fitchburg State Falcon Athletics was honored by both the University, and the official NCAA Twitter account, culminating in one of our proudest products yet.

THE GOAL

In creating these videos, our goal was to show the uniqueness of Division III Athletics. Many D-III colleges have great athletic teams, however are generally ignored for their larger counterparts. Our videos highlighted Fitchburg State University, its athletic teams, and their impact on student-athletes and their peers.

After showcasing different athletic teams throughout the week, our final video wanted to show what it meant to be a student athlete at Fitchburg State University. With interviews with the President of the university Richard Lapidus, the incredible Athletic Director Sue Lauder, and a special appearance from the universities mascot Freddy Falcon, our final video was the perfect way to end Division III Week ‘17.

The following year, after an extremely successful campaign, FSU asked Frost T Rost Productions back for another year. This time, the focus was on the athletics department as a whole, with a focus on the teams' impact on the school and culture of FSU.

With the success of D-III Week, Frost T Rost was asked to create other content for FSU Athletics. This included recruitment videos, end of the year highlights, and more.
